So I decided to join the Corps of Cadets, but I’m going into it blind bc I’m a first generation college student. It’s also hard for me to attend the SNWC as I’m from out of state. Anyone have any suggestions into what units I should go into (I’m still deciding between Heaven’s 11 and the Filthy Fifth) or what life is like in the Corps?
It is my understanding that you will be assigned an unit. I don’t think you have a choice.

Pretty sure you choose one… at the NSC, you get to choose what unit you want to go into.
I did some research, the band doesn’t select, other units do. We are focused on band so that’s where my confusion came in.
