<p>is anybody on there in the VTCC? how do you like it? how big of a time commitment is it? does it really ruin your social life or can you go party with the rest of the school? if you apply to the school as a cadet its supposed to help your admissions chance. do you know by how much? what % of cadets are in ROTC, and how many in AFROTC? have alumni been pretty successful at securing positions in the military that they were aiming for? is there a nearby air field where a person may take flying lessons?</p>

<p>Hey, my friend is a freshman in AFROTC right now in VTCC and he's told me about it</p>
<p>1) he says it sucks after the first 6 weeks or so, because after those weeks rats stop bonding as much and start to form little cliques. so high school drama ensues. BUT, it's supposed to be MUCH better starting sophomore year
2) yes it ruins your social life, no to parties
3) shouldnt matter TOO much, but if you're on the line i'm sure it does
