Correction on Brent Wagner!

<p>I do not think the post about Brent Wagner is entirely correct. It may have been started by an MPulse student who was told this by an audition coach that misunderstood the Michigan website.</p>

<p>According to Mary Anna Dennard, Jason DeBord was hired in a new position as Music Director, not as Chairman and will begin sometime in August (fall 2014). The wording and font/color on the website may lead some to believe that he will become chair in the fall, which has NOT been announced. That is all rumors. Jason DeBord is listed on the Michigan website as a faculty member, in alphabetical order with the others, underneath Brent Wagner the Chair. I do think he will be a wonderful addition to their faculty.</p>

<p>At first glance it appeared “misleading” to many, I suppose (judging by the flurry of posts on different FB sites some Michigan students and past MPulse students). I agree, though. It is clear if you just take the time to look at it, it is not misleading. That did not happen yesterday.</p>
