Corrections for FAFSA

Hey everybody,

I sent in corrections for my FAFSA (which I applied for about a month ago for spring 2009 semester, i'm currently a freshman in college) about two weeks ago (I messed up big time on my parent's net business/farm investments, didn't know that the small business run by my parents did not count!). My school received the corrections and processed everything. Then I check my SAR today and the corrections weren't even made for some reason. I'm pretty sure I corrected my application. Should I correct it again, and send it in again?

Also, another question. Should I apply for FAFSA (2009-2010) now, using 2007 tax info?

Thanks guys!

I would suggest checking the FAFSA corrections site again. There should be two transactions; perhaps you only checked the first transaction, or didn't even notice that there are two. The second is your corrections. Try to see if you can find those. And, yes, you need to use '07 tax info if you don't currently have '08. When you have '08, you will need to go back AGAIN, do a third transaction, and correct the estimates. Be certain, if you have deleted some schools and added others, that you correct all of them.
