Correlation Between College Wealth and Poor

<p>Turns out there's very little tie between how rich a college is and how earnestly they pursue Pell Grant recipients:</p>

<p>Interesting factoid: the three top schools mentioned in the first paragraph of the article have widely different endowment per student ratios with Amherst weighing in at over a million dollars per student while Emory and Vassar each come in at around $300,000 per student. HYP each have less Pell Grant recipients per student than New England’s Little Three (Wesleyan, Williams and Amherst).
