Is there anyone who has completed a Princeton Review comprehensive SAT prep course- including all 4 of their diagnostic tests- and who can confirm that the results on the PR tests corresponded to their actual SAT scores?

If you have attended such a course and found dissimilar results, did your real scores increase from your PR scores? Decrease?

Thanks!

No one has any experience with Princeton Review?

I honestly find those prep courses rather unreliable. I personally increased 440 points (175 to a 219 on the PSAT) using only The Official SAT Study Guide and a few kaplan books.

If you are looking for projected test scores, only use real CB tests.

Yes, but I have the blue book #2 and the Princeton Review both. The blue book #2 doesn’t have answers in it, so how am I going to figure out where I went wrong? I can’t put the picture questions on the internet.

Well…on a PR practice test I got a 620 on CR and a 650 on M.

…I got a 790 on CR and an 800 on M on the January SAT test.

So…maybe this is an extreme case, but PR scores probably aren’t the most reliable.

I find that the PR curves are very generous, and thus, one’s scores tend to be inflated when using this book.
