Hey, I have been accepted to all three, but I have to make a very hard decision as to which college I will attend. My intend major is Psychology, and I'm looking for the college that offers the best education and lots of outdoor activities. Considering that I'm from Long Island, and Im from a Big town, I want to be in a small town setting.

Sooo, which school Do you guys think would be ideal for me?

Buff State is a city campus, it is in a cool section of Buffalo called the Elmwood strip, with access to public trans. Have you visited any of these schools? I think visiting would help you decide which is the best fit. Haven't visited Cortland or Potsdam but both are in much smaller towns than Buff St.

Take a look at students review dot com - all one word but can't type email addresses on this site. If you look at the students comments you can get an idea of what students think of the three schools. I have found this site very helpful.

I'm really old and not going to college myself...but I'd pick Cortland; Potsdam is really remote and Buff State is not in the prettiest neighborhood.

sean 256- maybe you are thinking of UB South campus. Buff state campus is not in a bad section of Buffalo, it's right across from the Albright Knox art gallery, on Elmwood near lots of shops and restaurants, and walking distance to Delaware park. Probably 2 blocks form Buff state campus are some of the most beautiful old mansions from the turn of the century. Down Elmwood to Allen is a really fun club area with lots of live music, called Allentown. My 2 D's go out down there at night and never had a prob.

alright, so based on the responses and reviews from **************.com; I have narrowed my schools down to Potsdam and Cortland.

For those that were asking, I did visit Potsdam and It was absolutely breathtaking. I felt like a VIP when I was given the tour. In the Admissions office they even had a sign that said, "SUNY Potsdam wecomes Ammar Hasan"! That made me feels like they really care about each one of their students.

I am yet to visit SUNY Cortland, but the reviews said it was pretty sweet too!
