<p>Irvine is one of the lesser competitive ones, but Davis is the most competitive</p>
<p>Maybe Irvine got a lot of applicants this year because a great deal of people used that same logic.</p>

I’m actually really surprised I got in since my stats aren’t that great.</p>
<p>GPA: 4.74
ECs that were listed: science program at ucsb learning about polymer synthesis as well as stem cells and regenerative medicine, MESA (won multiple awards), cross country, track, staff member of a top 10 yearbook in the nation, youth group leader
Teacher Rec: I’m guessing one was okay and the other one was really good
Essays: Not really sure if they were good…but probably not since I wrote them the night before and the morning they were due</p>
<p>I don’t know what you consider a great GPA, but that GPA is very high.</p>

Maybe they decided to email some clusters earlier than others? I’ve been checking all day. I couldn’t even concentrate at all during school and I had CST testing!</p>

<p>I’ve been checking all day too for irvine! I’m nervous…but right now my heart is out to Boston, the marathon runners, and their families.</p>
