<p>Last year, when my friend applied to COSMOS @ UCSD as a sophomore, they sent him this snippet when he asked them (in general) why he was rejected:</p>
<p>âMost of the accepted students have taken several AP classes in math and science, which makes them more competitive as well as giving them a higher weighted math and science.â</p>
<p>Just putting that out there. He has re-applied this year (as well as myself) as Juniors, as COSMOS tends to accept junior/senior applications in a higher quantity than with frosh/soph applicants.</p>
<p>@BioBoy97â Thatâs why I donât expect to get in. Freshman at my school can only take one AP, Human Geography, at my school. But I still have hope. Iâm defintely gonna reapply if I donât get in. </p>
<p>OhâŠMy school doesnt let freshmen take any APs, only juniors+ can take AP sciences, and we dont have any honors classes⊠</p>
<p>Yes my school doesnât have any honors either and very restrictive AP sciences. For instance I wanted to do AP biology next year but they made me do pre-ap bio. By the way Iâm typing this at 11:54 pm if anyone is curious.</p>

<p>@dsi411 none of those campus are close to my home D: I choose UCD mainly because my best friend is applying to that campus, and she applied to UCD Mathematics as well. Also it have the clusters I want. Also I heard it is the most competitive one so to me pressure means motivation!
