I was wondering if there is a way I can know my position on the waitlist because I really want to be part of this summer program. Also, I checked my application status through the COSMOS online portal, but I haven’t received an official email from COSMOS notifying my status so I was also confused about that.
@naclyelly it’s cosmos policy to not disclose what position youre on the waitlist
@jiminisbae then is there a separate waitlist pool for out of state and in state students?

@naclyelly i think they give priority to ca students, then out of the ca students by upperclassmen to lowerclassmen
i asked ucsd about the waitlist and they said “Typically, we have about 10 students on the waitlist per cluster. Admitted students will have until the acceptance deadline of April 6th to accept or decline our offer. Soon after is when the waitlist students will be contacted accordingly. That is all I can disclose at the moment. More information will become available after April 6th.”
