Ok they said that the application packet form was received (so I’m guessing its just a bug) and that the schedule will be out soon (its typically from 9am-5pm)

I got an email that COSMOS didn’t receive my transcript :(( It’s due 6/25. I checked parchment and it was sent May, but it said they didn’t download it and that it’s no longer downloadable. I sent an email but I should probably call them. Hopefully I get a good response!!

It all depends on what cluster! I applied to COSMOS as a rising junior under Cluster 8 for UCSC and got in. Here are some of my stats:

Essays (I think these were super important):
two cluster specific essays
- I shared a little about my class trip to Catalina and family trips to Hawaii, why I love the ocean (cluster 8)
- I wrote about my interest in cell biology after visiting my godmother’s lab at UW.
one personal statement
- can be anything about you!
DO not repeat your extracurriculars here, maybe add on by explaining why you are interested in that subject.
COSMOS 2022 should be in person, which will be so much better!
