I am right at the bottom middle of acceptance to Villanova I got a 29 on the ACT and a 680 CR and a 590 M. Therefore I do not think I will be eligible for many merit scholarships. However I have a single mother who makes about $55,000 a year and we only have about $10,000 saved. Do you think I would get any financial aid as I really cannot pay the sticker price.

yes. you will get financial aid. Maybe even a significant amount. Also apply for scholarships listed on the nova website. There is a Villanova coke scholarship that pays for full tution for low income students.

It’ll be difficult to get any type of significant merit aid from the university or most third party scholarships with your stats, however, there is a good chance you can get a combination of work study, some merit aid, and need-based grants and loans to make your overall cost somewhat reasonable.

The best thing for you to do is to plead your case with the FA office, they make a lot of exceptions for some of the smaller merit scholarships and will be generous if you just explain your situation and express high interest in Nova.

Good luck.
