<p>i was just wondering how much do first year students spend on average for books. do they actually spend about 1000 a year on books like what the fianncial aid website says. what if i buy used</p>

<p>Less than 400 probably.</p>

<p>People who buy new are either idiots or too spoiled to take the time to find someone to buy used from.</p>
