How much does an undergraduate education usualyl cost at Stanford with everything accounted for: tuition, food, room and board, living expenses, etc. I don't need an exact number but a round estimate would help me alot. Thanks.

Stanford Student Budget 2006-2007

Tuition $32,994
Room and Board 10,367
Books and Supplies 1,290
Personal 1,935
Orientation Fee (1st year only) 425

Total $47,011

That's for four years right? Not just one... (haha I wish).

LoL, yes, unfortunately that is just one year.

how much money will Stanford give for each student who applies for the fin aid?

^it depends on how much your parent make, their assests, along with a lot of other stuff. trust me, the FAFSA and CSS Profile are a biatch.

but it fluctuates A TON for every student b/c noones parents make the same exact amount of money or have the same financial situation. all i know for sure is people making <$45,000/year get a full ride and those families with <$60,000 have greatly reduced charges.

thanks current-student

here's a link to an EFC (estimated family contribution) calculator to give you a sense of what your family might be expected to pay at most colleges.
