Costco's Return Policy -- TVs

Note much related to academics, but does anyone know about Costco's return policy on TVs? I know the computer return policy is for purchase of up to 6 months.

I've read on the net that people can now return their TVs with or without receipts for up to 30 days (used to be unlimited time, but now changed due to abuse).

I want to know if anyone has done this before -- buying a TV and returning it within a short (or long) amount of time.

I am thinking about getting a TV for like a month, and then returning it. (instead of bringing my own to the apt, or buying a new one). Would just one time get Costco to label me on the shady side? Would anything happen?

At least you realize it's on the shady side. This isn't much different than theft IMO since the TV wouldn't be able to be sold as a new unused TV by Costco. For the sake of you conscience you shouldn't do it.

if you really need a TV for a month, can you live with TV on your computer? the upside to that is it's cheaper than a TV, you can record stuff, and it's much more portable.

doesn't work if you want to play video games, but worth a shot ;)

actually, it will. most TV tuners have composite AV and/or S-video inputs.

digital HD capable tv tuners are like $50 now.
