Costs and Transfer

I am an accepted student into the College of Engineering and I sit in the financial situation where I'll never get aid from Cornell. There is no arguing this point, it's simply the way such things work.

However, I also sit in the financial situation where I'm never going to be able to afford a Cornell education without putting my family into at least $80,000 of debt - a debt they can't handle.

What are my options now? I've done everything I can to get into Cornell and now I can't go. Are there any ways to get aid that I'm overlooking?

Also, what are my options for transfer in the future? If all financial chances fall through, I might (mind you, might) be able to handle one or two years at Cornell. What are the odds of transfer acceptance for someone who was already accepted?

Thanks for your input.
