Coterm at Stanford

I will likely be attending Stanford this fall (I used to be 100% sure but now I'm not so sure even though I already paid my deposit).

I am interested in the Coterm opportunities at Stanford. (Although I'm not sure yet if I would rather choose to double-major.)

Does anyone know which Masters programs at Stanford allow co-terms?
Or which ones are most popular?

bump bump bump

CS does for sure

And from what I’ve read, the…entire education dept.?

Hey another question:

Can you earn more than 1 master’s degree through the coterm program?

NJDS: I don’t know of any comprehensive list of all departments that participate in the Coterm program, but here is a list of all engineering Coterm programs available: http://ughb.stanford.edu/OSA/handbook/handbookfiles/handbooks/08-09/7-OtherDegreePrograms.pdf</a>
This pdf comes from the Stanford Engineering Undergraduate Handbook: [Stanford University School of Engineering Undergraduate Handbook](http://ughb.stanford.edu/)

abcdeff: No, you can only earn one master’s degree via the Coterm program.

Why would you want more than 1 master;s degree?

There are coterm programs everywhere. I think you can coterm in anything Stanford offers a MA in. By far the most popular ones, according to my impression, are -

Computer Science

Engineering - Civil, Mechanical, etc.

MS&E - super super popular now esp w recession. basically MS&E is a business program so this is kind of a cheap semi MBA

Sociology - super super easy to get into. Don;t need to even take the GRE or write a thesis. You also can start as early as your sophomore year.

Im a fuzzy, so as far as I know, you can coterm in soc, public policy, international policy studies, any regional studies (east asian, european, latin american, etc.), education, etc., on that side

oops… master;s. MA and MSes too. anything stanford offers a masters in.
