Hi guys,
I know that top schools don't require AP's , however all of those admittedstudied and sat for it ,so if we assume that an int'l student with great gpa standarized tests EC's and all::does not having AP's to show the loads of courses he had at high school hurt him???
thanks!!

Does your school have AP classes? If it does and you decide not to take as much as you can your chances for the TOP TOP schools will be almost nothing. If it doesn’t, consider self-studying some APs you are interested in to show some initiative. You don’t have to, but it does help.

Good Luck!

we have neither ap’s nor honorrs but my school is veryyyyyyyyyy selective and among top 3 in my whole country and the course load is huge and our ordinary classes could be compared to ap’s but they don’t offer neither ap’ courses nor tests!!!

you’re fine. it’s not the APs themselves that’s important, it’s taking the most rigorous schedule available out of what was available to you. was your schedule rigorous? sounds like it. relax

No - you do not have to have APs to gain admission in top colleges. The adcomms want to see that you took the most challenging courseload available to you. You will be fine.
