You have a lot of reaches. Ivies are hard for everyone, even with your stats it will be difficult to know if you get in. What would you consider your safety and match schools?
@NeedInfo1244 great candidate, but like @BreBre235 said, it may behoove you to pick a few more safeties IMO.
I’m a legacy to UVA and obviously those aren’t the only schools I applied to. I mostly just put the ones that I wanted to know my chances on
@SeinfeldFan1 and @BreBre235 I forgot to mention that typically about 4-8 guys in a class will go Ivey while 30-40 will go to top 30 schools.
@SeinfeldFan1 okay man… just trying to help.
What others colleges did you apply to?
@SeinfeldFan1 oh no thanks so much for your feedback. I didn’t mean for anything to come across mean or anything of that nature(if that’s what you thought).
How do you already know you’re a National Merit Finalist?
@BreBre235 UT knoxville, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, TCU, Baylor, Sewanee, Wake Forest
@malvernvarna I’m semi right now but from what I’ve been told I should get finalist
I gotchu man don’t worry, I think GT is a great safety.
What major are you going for?
Economics and Mathematics
I think adding Case as a safety wouldn’t hurt, also.
I think you’re definitely qualified for admission to all those schools! The issue is that most everyone that applies is qualified. Really work on your writing and make sure your recs are good- you have a solid chance! Good Luck
