Financial Aid: Asking for it but not a full ride
As an international student needing financial aid, that makes it tougher for you. Your SAT is within the middle 50%, but it is not toward the top. NMSF is very good. I think the biggest thing will be how much aid you will need. If you didn’t need any aid, I would say you have a good shot, but even there, many people with SATs higher than yours get denied every year at Vassar.
Good luck.
I’m not asking for a full ride, neither am I asking for as much as my peers, so lets hope for the best. Thanks!
Your chances look pretty good, numerically. Just make sure your essay is really good - show what you’re passionate about. If you can, do an interview.
Vassar doesn’t really HAVE an interview as such. But thank you, I’ve been working on my essay for 4 months now. If it isnt brilliant then ill probably jump off the nearest skyscraper
