Hi I'm Chinese and have been accepted by some big universities and LACs in US. Since I never visited those schools ,I have a tough time about my decision. I appreciate your attention about my post :)

Accepted by:
George Washington U,( 15,000 scholarship)
American SPA, Pol Sci major( 20,000 scholarship)
Brandeis
Fordham
UCSD
Elon University

Waitlisted by:
UNC

AU's location and Pol sci and IR programs are great. I like DC and political science. AU is the cheapest among all. However, I am afraid that after spending some time in college , my interest would change and AU may not have strong programs in other fields. ( how big is AU's campus? Does anyone feel it is too small? )

I know that GWU's pol sci is one of the best in the nation, but how are the other programs at this school, like Business, liberal arts? ( by the way, does GWU have a traditional campus? Does it have some grass among buildings? I have visited NYU before and was frightened by the campus made up of streets and concrete buildings.)

BTW, Should I go to UNC if I got accepted?I know it is a very good school and has excellent programs in all fields. My concern about UNC is that it's a public school and I may not get much personal attention.

Elon is cheap and seems nice. But I know little about this school. What are the strong programs at this school?

Brandeis is too expensive , so I am not thinking of it. So it is with UCSD and Fordham.

Which one is the most academically intensive school among all I mentioned? (and which one is not challenging?)

Could anyone give me some advice about where I go to college in US?
Thanks in advance!
