I have a 3.7, which is kind of low for my school, which is very prestigious, but I have a pretty good strength of schedule (spanish every year, more than normal math classes, newspaper every year, science/english/history every year, and art 3 years.) and I did ok on my SATs (I think...I got a 2000). I've been a member of about 3 clubs consistently throughout high school and I'm in the national honor society. I really want to get in, but I'm very nervous that I won't! If anyone can reassure me (or prepare me for the worst!) that would be great! thanks so much!

also, after barnard, nyu is probably next on my list (though aspects of it scare me!) so if you don't think I'd get into barnard, what do you think my chances for nyu are? thanks so much!!

anyone? I’m definitely applying, but I just want to know how likely you think it is? thanks in advance (and if you can give me some advice about barnard. where did you come from before attending, whats the hardest thing about it, greatest thing about it, how many guys (good ones!) did you meet through columbia or just in nyc, etc etc. I’d love to hear about your experiences. thanks!!)

i’m not sure how selective barnard is, but nyu is definitely a match. i’d say you definitely have a chance at barnard, but it might be a bit of a reach.

thank you so much, thats good to hear barnard sounds like more of a match for me, but nyu sounds great too, just in a different way. i’m glad i at least have a chance, and though I’d be sad not to get into both, if I just got into 1 that’d be great. are you a student at either college? If so, I’d love some advice!
