<p>I wanna do a biomedical PhD in the US but I have no idea about the grad schools in the US (I'm from Hong Kong). As I like California very much, are there any decent schools that I could get into with my background? </p>
<p>Backgraound: Biochemistry BS from a Hong Kong univ
GPA: my univ doesn't reli calculate GPA, but i thk i'm around 3.2 in the case of direct conversion (but i'm studying in the US for this semester as an exchange student and i'm sure that i can get at least 3.5 in this sem)
Research experience: finished a summer undergraduate research project in a molecular biology lab, doing a semester of undergrad research in a chem lab now
ECA: vice-chairman of students' union, student repreentatives of student groups </p>
