Could I Ever Be Accepted?

Hello, I am an African American (my parents immigrated from Sudan for political reasons when I was 2) junior who lives in VA. I am very active politically in the sector of human rights as I hope to convey from my list of extra curricular activities and my future personal statement on my applications... However, I am really worried about my chances of getting into some Harvard.. Its been my #1 choice for years now so I have decided to apply Early Action..... Will I be looking at eminent rejection?
Thank you for your time!

That's it....stop it.
You have close to over ten threads asking THE SAME THING!
One tread is enough for chances.
Please, no one reply.

with your grades I think harvard is a reach

WindCloudUltra if your so ****ed off then I suggest you get a life instead of being so darn rude. If my threads bother you then you just shouldnt waste your life answering them or looking at them.

ok how can u predict your chances only with your GPA and EC and you haven't even gotten your results back from SAT II and you haven't even taken SAT I AP or ACT test..

Lol, you have two chances threads in the "What are my chances" forum alone. But that's ok, i'll still chance you. 3.68 GPA is really really low. However, your EC's are so strong that i'm a bit hesitant to write you off immediately. I think if your essays are good enough, you have a chance at making it in (assuming your SATs are good). But with someone whose EC's are as strong as yours, the essay becomes even more important than it already is. You really have to show your passion for politics that is reflected in your EC's. Good luck! (and, 1 thread in each forum is enough ;))

"WindCloudUltra if your so ****ed off then I suggest you get a life instead of being so darn rude. If my threads bother you then you just shouldnt waste your life answering them or looking at them."

sudaneya4ever,
No need to get personal here. All I'm saying is that you shouldn't be spamming the threads with the same post, as that is not beneficial to any posters who are reading the boards. You WILL get feedback once we get enough information, but as many have indicated, we need your grades next year and your SATs once you've taken them. Begging and Whining won't get you any responses. We're all trying to help- as we (everyone on this board) were all in the same boat once or are going through the process now. We understand how anxious people can get during the college admissions period.

Perhaps you thought my post was rude; that's fine. If so, I apologize. However, your response was equally immature and rude and unnecessary.

Having an angry attitude isn't a plus...

Just joking about not having two chance threads, you have five or six on the "What are my chances" forum...Try to keep the threads at a minimum (a.k.a one) because by creating more threads, you're squeezing out other people's threads. I understand that you're eager to hear more opinions, but there are other people who need help as well. I don't think there's a way to delete the threads that you don't want but just remember next time. That being said, I don't blame you for wanting more opinions. You are a rare case indeed :).
