My first choice of school is WWU, I really want to get in! I'm unsure if I'll be able to though.

Here are my strong points:

-My GPA is 3.65
-I have over 150 hours of community service
-I was chosen to be student of the month
-My GPA shows improvement (freshman:3.2, sophmore:3.9 junior 3.9)
-I have taken one AP class
-I was involved in a couple of clubs

Woops, forgot to mention I haven't taken the SAT/ACT.

The crazy, anxious, irrational part of me thinks this isn't good enough. Am I right to be worried? What could I do?

Also, do will the college admissions people look at my senior year grades?

Many thanks for your help.

I don’t know what ranking WWU is, so I’ll judge you based on Ivy standards. Your GPA is kind of low. 150 hours isn’t that much. Being chosen to be student of the month doesn’t really mean anything, it’s not a major achievement. I guess GPA improvement throughout your high school career will look good. Taking only one AP is not impressive. Have you taken any leadership roles in your clubs?
Remember, I’m comparing your stats against Ivy hopefuls, so don’t feel bad. Anyways, good luck on the SAT/ACT and good luck on getting accepted. :)

Which WWU are you talking about?

Sorry, I should have been more clear. Western Washington University

Hi Laurel,

I’m assuming that you’re in state?

And, I’m sure that you’re at a match/in for WWU. Just make sure to look on their website for their median SAT scores and try to fall within the 75% of those scores. Best of luck this Fall! We’re all going to need it =)

Best,
Di

I think that you have good chances for WWU. You are most likely accepted. Good luck in the fall! Chance me back?
