Could I get Big FA from Penn State

I am going to apply to Penn State in the fall, but I was wondering if they give out any sort of Academic or Merit scholarships that would reduce tuition to a minimum. Family income is around $100k, and I am also a PA resident. Is there anyway I can get a scholarship for my academics??? My class rank is top 5%, SAT I is 1460 (780 M 680 CR), and I am a NMS Commended student. Is there a way for this to help me get scholarships to PSU.

After Googling “Penn State merit aid” I found:
http://admissions.psu.edu/costs-aid/scholarships/

The honors college, Schreyer, gives a $5k/yr scholarship. It’s competitive for anyone but probably worth a shot. (https://www.shc.psu.edu/admissions/apply/)

There are various other small awards (Provost Fund, etc.) but they’re all competitive and not guaranteed. Apply and see how it goes, but don’t expect your cost of attendance to go down all that much. (https://studentaid.psu.edu/types-of-aid/scholarships)

There’s also a chance of getting something from whichever college you’re in. I have one from the College of Engineering and one added junior year for being in honors in my specific major.

They’re rare and hard to get, so apply to Schreyer and after Admission apply to department scholarships.
Temple honors would be a better in terms of merit aid.
