i've been getting C's on 3 out of the 4 AP classes i'm taking and i've never had C's before. it's not that i've got senioritis, i'm just struggling to keep up with the AP workload because well, i've never taken this many. do you think i'll get deferred? if i pay for the $200 tuition deposit & later find out that UF defers me, do i get my money back?

Deferred makes no sense in this context. You are referring to being rescinded, or having your admission revoked.

Unless you fail most of your classes, you should be fine. Don’t worry about it, I have never heard of someone being rescinded from UF.

I have been rescinded from UF! lol But it was for dropping classes. I’ve been talking to them, emailing back and forth, and I’m waiting for a response on my admission. They seem to really want to try to keep me in. So I’m hoping for the best.

I’m pretty sure there are conditions to maintain acceptance, but I don’t think Cs will hurt you too much. I was just looking at it a couple days ago…

This is for FSU, I’m sure its the same…

“We will conduct a final review of your application as soon as we receive your final high school and college (if dual enrolled) transcripts. A downward trend in your senior year grades, any senior grade below C, and/or any changes in your senior schedule involving academic courses could result in your offer of admission being rescinded. In addition, if your cumulative college grade point average is below 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale), your admission will be rescinded.”
