Hi. I’m a Florida resident interested in majoring in Computer Engineering at UCF. I currently attend an online university where I’m gathering around ~30 hours or so of transferable credit since I do not meet the freshman admission requirements. My transfer coursework consists of basic general education courses (English, college algebra & trig, social sciences, humanities, foreign language, etc.) but admittedly, I have not taken calculus or any science-related or engineering-related courses, which I assume would decrease my chances by a lot. My GPA is 4.00 so far, however. Assuming I maintain it in just the aforementioned courses, do you think UCF would admit me? If not, would it be wise to first declare a humanities major in my application and then, at a later time, declare a double major or a change of major to increase my chances of getting into an engineering program?
Thank you!
