I would really appreciate any help :) Thank you all very very much!

You will definitely get in, and into the honors college with those stats.
The criteria for honors college is higher than the criteria for merit money, so you would definitely get merit money getting into honors college. I can’t give you an amount, because I really don’t know the numbers for scholarships that they award, just that they are VERY generous with scholarship money.

Did you not apply yet? Or not hear yet? Because Hofstra acceptances have been going out for a while now… in fact, last night they hosted the students invited into the honors college for a banquet, the place was packed, so a lot of kids apparently have received acceptances at this point.

You most definitely will get in, and with merit $. My son applied (and he has similiar stats, buy you have much more EA’s and volunteer hours), and he got offered $16Kyear. Some of his HS buddies got offered $20K/year. They evidently have a lot of endowment money to go around. It’s a very tempting offer for my son, but he wants to go away (we live on LI), and we are still waiting to hear from Syracuse. Good luck, sounds like you are very focused, Nicoleann!

i had around the same UW GPA as you (3.66), AP Courses and SAT score (1930) and I received 17K in scholarship and then they offered me more!! so like 23.5k!! i just came back for a visit and i am pretty sure I will attend. Also, if you are accepted to the honors college, they have special honors dorms that get a better (and bigger!) budget so you get nicer rooms with more perks!!

I would say that you have a amazing chance to get in. As to how much you would get in merit scholarship it changes every year how much is given as the maximum merit scholarship and how much you will receive. The only thing I can really say is to apply and see how much you will receive.
