I think you have a good shot at Trinity. All of your grades are either A’s or B’s, which is in their range. It is hard to tell since you haven’t reported any scores. Have you taken the PSAT’s yet? You should look into other NESCAC schools (google: “NESCAC”) if you like Trinity. They are all pretty similar. Add more of your stats and I could give you a better idea…

i took the PSATs and they were in the 1600- 1800 range so im taking am SAT class to boost it up

Do you play squash really, really well?

haha no…i never played

So i have taken the SATs and well i have a 1420. I’m not happy at all. I am taking them again in sept. And i am applying to schools with a test opt. Choice. Would i still have a chance at trinity with these low test scores?

Bump? Lollllll

1420 out 1600 or 2400? As long as you get A’s your senior year you still have a chance. One weak area in an application will not kill a candidate

1420 out of 2400 :(((

Kaeti, you are NOT your SAT score. Take that sad purple frowny face off!! Look into the colleges that have gone test-optional. My alma mater, Bowdoin, has been test-optional since the early 1980s, and look where it is in the rankings!! Many, many other excellent liberal arts schools have followed suit. You are are hardworking, goal-oriented student. Focus on your achievements and find a school that is looking for YOU.

Allow me to second easygo: the record of what you have accomplished speaks far more than a single, 3-hour test. If a college decides the test outweighs years of proven accomplishments, might not be an institution you’d like.
