I want to look at these colleges:
University of Washington
GA Tech ( I applied early )
Rensselaer
Cal Poly
Purdue
University of Michigan
UIUC
Berkeley
You have a pretty good range of schools. It will probably be a mix of acceptances and rejections, but you will probably get into at least one of these.
Purdue- Low Match/Safety
Georgia Tech- High Match (probably a 50-50 shot)
University of Washington- Low Match
UIUC- Match for LAS, Low Reach for Engineering
UCB- Reach
Cal Poly- Match
UMich- Reach
Rensselaer- Match
I’m applying regular decision for Cal Poly and am wanting to go into Mechanical Engineering. What do you think about that? ME is really hard to get into considering Cal Poly…I have a 4.06 Cal Poly GPA including my freshman year but a 4.21 minus my freshman year.
You definitely look good. Your ACT is phenomenal, GPA is good. EC’s are great+sports makes you a super well rounded student. Overall chances:
Berkeley: Maybe
UIUC: Yes (Definitely)
Uni. Michigan: Yes
Purdue: Yes
Cal Poly: Maybe
Renesselar: Maybe…Yes?
GA Tech: Maybe
Uni. Washington: Yes (Definitely)
