Could I get in?

I am currently a junior and will be applying come next fall. I want to go to Wake Forest Regular Decision.
While I understand that the coursework looks strong, my school hardly offers classes that are not honors, and there are many APs available, so the college might not be that impressed.
I also plan to take the SAT again and to take several SAT subject tests.
Thank you so much for taking the time to help!

I have a GPA unweighted of 3.75, and SAT Score of 2070

You’re doing well in high school, looks like you are taking among the most competitive classes available. If you can, visit WFU, definitely schedule an interview and do so early as they do/will fill up. Demonstrate to WFU if you can, why Wake Forest seems interesting rather than any other great college (of which there are many). Also, a personal hint/advice, Wake/colleges don’t need you to have saved the world yet, but show them that you have passion and I think it’s always nice to show how you think you can try to make a place better. Not in an obnoxious/superior way, but in a genuine “I know myself and I’ve worked to try to see how I can positively impact your school” way. Also, you’re definitely going to college, congratulations! That is something less than half of our country gets the opportunity to do, so enjoy and don’t stress too much about elite school competition, you’ll be fine regardless! #GoDeacs

Just so you know, no college is going to look at your 8th grade transcript.
