Do I have a shot???

You'll be competitive because at least your numbers will put you in range (middle 50%) but no guarantees of course. Where are you from and what are you interested in studying?

i am interested in pre-med and music, although it seems so typical of an asian candidate. How can i present myself differently and uniquely(?) to the admissions?

Just for your information, Hopkins does not have a music major, but does have a minor at the Homewood campus. Much of the faculty comes from Peabody Conservatory, which is part of Hopkins. Perhaps you should look into these: http://www.peabody.jhu.edu/172 which are opportunities at Peabody for Hopkins undergrad, including double degrees, dual enrollment etc.

yes you do have a shot, just as anyone else who applies.
