could i get in?

----GPA- 3.83 W, probably ~3.6 UW (only will have taken like 2 or 3 APs when i graduate but more preAPs... 25%ile

----SAT-2190 690 m 760 cr 740 w(maybe retake

----EC's- nothing special

what do yall think my % of getting accepted is? How is the finaid/ merit schol?

i am from texas btw

real % guesses are impossible because EC aren’t quantifiable. in terms of your scores you’re likely to get in, but no EC and few APs is going to hurt a lot and your GPA is lower percentile.

definitely apply, but you wont be getting merit aid if accepted

Here are my EC’s don’t know if this changes anything

4 year basketball(2 year letter), 4 year cross country(1 year letter) at a 5A school with 2600+ students, National Merit Qualifier(waiting to see if it is commended scholar or semifinalist, probably just commended) NHS, about 100 hrs community service, worked on and off for 2 years at baskin robbins and refereed youth basketball, aau nationals every summer, cerebrals society member (not sure if that even counts)

thats a pretty solid ec background. depending on how dramatically being out of state affects admissions this year, you should have a good chance.

What do you mean your ECs are nothing special? That’s a solid resume you got there, lol. The only downside to your application would be your GPA/class rank and the fact that you’re out-of-state. I still think you have a good shot, though. Good luck!

those are good ec’s man. lol

I think i may have worded them flatteringly because besides sports and occasionally holding a job there is not much there huh?

dont be so modest, the vast majority of students dont have any EC whatsoever. you’re only comparing yourself to others like yourself, not to most people. you’ll appreciate it more when you have to say it over and over again filling out college apps.
