40+ hours of community service
but no school government involvement.</p>
<p>As for sports, thats my weak point. Im horrible at them and I dont do any. I did 6-month stint of fencing in my freshman year and became "officially armed and dangerous", but I dont think that really counts for much.</p>
<p>I had a summer job last year, and this summer I got accepted to a 2-week creative writing workshop at UVA.</p>
<p>Reach Schools:</p>
<p>Brown University, USC, Princeton, Tufts, Harvard (Im almost 100% sure I wont get into Harvard, but my mom went there and so shes essentially forcing me to apply).</p>
<p>Target Schools: </p>
<p>Oberlin College, Carnegie Mellon University, Boston University, University of Virginia, Chapman University</p>
<p>Safety Schools: </p>
<p>University of Arizona, Loyola College in Maryland</p>
<p>Although I personally think the triple-Ivy applications are a bit unnecessarily ambitious, I'm mainly concerned with getting into Oberlin, Tufts, and USC. (and Brown)</p>
