I currently have in between 750-850 hours of community service and am aiming to get over 1000 by the end of my junior and senior year.

I want to go into Biomedical Engineering.

Should I apply to Cornell?

Is it even possible to have so many extra-curriculars?

If you get your ACT up to a 33+, then I think you will have a pretty good chance, more than 50%, but not a lock.

I’d say that by having so many extracurriculars you are actually lowering your chances of acceptance to very low.

750-800? Holy shet.

Yes, you could get into Cornell.

I am not sure if you are lowering your chances with so many extracurricular activities. However, you need to be more “specialized” or “focused” in one or two areas. Top schools like to see a person who is passionate about one or two things. Just some food for thought…

" 750-800? Holy shet. "
I’ve seen many people with higher here. But still, given that along with the ridiculous amount of ecs as a junior… how focused can you be?

As was early posted, your ACT / SAT score will have to significantly rise to have a good chance of admission with your intended major.

See if these statistics will help a little bit. (look at the bottom section)
