Could I Get Into Duke (Chances)?

<p>I was hung up on applying to urban schools, but the more I have read about Duke recently, the more I like about the school. I have never been a Duke fan, so the realization it might be a good place for me kind of frightens me. Anyway, do you think I could get into Duke? </p>

<p>ACT: 34 (took SAT but ACT is better)
SAT II - US History: 790
SAT II - Literature: 670 (will retake - if I study this time I should break 700+)
SAT II - Math IIC: 660 (same as Lit)</p>

<p>GPA (u): 3.84
GPA (w): 4.50
Class Rank: 10/1,026 (not sure of specific rank, but for sure top 1%)
High School Type: Competitive Public</p>

<p>I think you have a very good chance. Nothing is for sure with those schools considering how competitive they are, but you have a solid shot. Best of luck!</p>

<p>Thanks a lot guys. That's very encouraging. It's just the more I hear, the more I like. Duke seems like a very nice environment. I could easily see myself there even though it's not a big city.</p>
