Could I get into Elon?

I really want to go to Elon University in North Carolina, so badly that I've decided to apply for early decision (which is binding) and apparently, 75-86% of people who apply early decision get in. But I'm still worried...

I didn't do too well my first two years of high school, got like a 2.7 or something, but I pulled my grades up junior year to a 3.37 and I'm hoping to get a 3.6 first semester this year because I take a lot of honors classes and an AP class that'll bring up my GPA. I get mostly B's and A's now, but I do quite poorly in math. My SAT score was a 1750 (640 in Critical Reading, 610 in Writing, 500 in Math) but I'm taking a course next month and taking them again in October, so I'm looking at maybe getting at least an 1850 this time around.

I've done varsity swim all four years, and speech and debate, and I went to Peru for a week last year to help orphans and do charity. I'm president of the History Club and I have always taken at least 3 honors classes every year and one AP class this year (AP Brit Lit). Will I be declined because of my poor freshman/sophomore year? Or do I have a chance because I've managed to do fairly well junior/senior year? I really want to go to Elon!

I think you have a decent chance, especially if you apply early decision. Also, Elon puts a lot of weight on honors and AP courses so that will help. Relax, take the SATs again, and apply early decision. Good luck!
