thanks again.

I think you got a shot, but not too good a shot. SATs are quite alright. GPA is def not good. ECs are pretty good though. Don't like the essay topic choice either...

The only problem with all of this is that I don't see how this all show Georgetown anything about you. You need to be more personal with them. An essay that talks about something you love or maybe a genuine experiene that shows something about you. I just don't think the essay your did or the EC's really show any sort of real interest in anything or anything personal about you.. This is something you really need with the GPA that you have (its really not bad but I mean its Georgetown). Honestly I think an essay on this zoo/PETA thing would have been really interesting to them. I still think though you have a decent chance. A lot of AP's and some good awards will help. Could you please chance me back. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/646707-chance-give-advice.html

^ You are exactly right. I wish I'd written about the PETA thing, but I didn't become involved in it until 3 months after I turned in my application. However, last month I did send a 4-page letter detailing the whole experience, so I dunno...

I'll go and chance you right now. Thanks.
