Could I get into Georgetown?

I am applying early action to Georgetown this fall. Due to the prestige and admission rate that Georgetown has, I am scared that I won't get in. Georgetown is my #1 choice and I would be applying to the School of Foreign Service.

I have a 3.85 GPA unweighted, and I had a 4.3 weighted when my school did that, they don't anymore. My class rank is not as good (20%) as it should be since I go to one of the top schools in my state and it also has the IB magnet. However, I am hoping that it will be better after this year since I am still taking a full class load while others slack off.

My senior year schedule:
AP English Literature
AP Spanish Language
AP Biology
French II (that is the only other language that my school offers or else I would be taking a more exotic, difficult language)
And two dual enrollment classes at a community college nearby. I know that taking dual enrollment classes is not preferred at Georgetown, but if I stay in state they will be very useful.

I have taken four AP classes already, AP World History-4, AP English Language-4, AP US History-4 and AP Government-3

Scores:
1810 on the SAT (first time taking it) 710 on reading, 580 on math and 520 on writing. I plan on getting at least a 2100 when I take it again.
31 on the ACT (I'm not taking it again) 33 on English, 29 on math, 34 on reading, 26 on science, 12/12 on writing.
SAT Subject Tests: World History-640 US History-720
I plan on possibly taking other subject tests such as Spanish since my World score is not that high.

EC's:
National Honor Society-11, 12
National English Honor Society-11, 12
Representative for Spanish Honor Society-11, 12
President and founder of the World Hunger Club-11, 12
FBLA member-10, 11, 12
Member of the Principal's Student Advisory Committee-11, 12
Senior class representative
I am in the leadership group and praise band for my youth group all through high school.
I also have been taking private voice lessons since sophomore year due to the fact that I sacrificed taking chorus for more academic classes after being in AllState in middle school.

I do ESL tutoring twice a week, with about 100 hours right now. I have been to Costa Rica for missions trips twice and I am hoping that it looks really good to tie all my involvement and passion for Spanish together in that way.

Sorry for writing so much but I wanted to include everything that might get me in! Let me know what you think!

I think your chance is somewhat “iffy.” Your CR score could be higher, especially if English is your first language, but then again, your ACT is pretty high. Even though they accept 4s at Gtown, most of your scores have been a 4, which isn’t so impressive. On the other hand, you’re too involved and spread out. Plus, it is evident that you recently joined many of the activities you’re in. You also do mission trips in CR, which is really common among wealthy students to do and not very original (no matter what work you’re doing). Lots of my friends do them (I come from a poor family,so that’s not an option). At this time, I think you really need to make your essay stand out to get in. Good luck—I hope you didn’t think I was being too critical. I was just thinking as an admissions officer.

Would you say the math on the ACT was easier? I’m not a strong math student, so I was wondering.

submit your ACT, not SAT. and they strongly recommend 3 subject tests, which i would do if i were you since the scores you have right now are fairly low. id also retake at least world history. and like tealover said, your EC’s are almost all just from 11th-12th grade and you have no leadership besides the club you founded. unless you write really amazing essays, you probably have a pretty low chance of getting in, even with EA
