Could I get into McCombs?

<p>I have been thinking about schools to apply to and I was going to only apply UT bc I am in the top ten percent but recently I have heard that in order to get into McCombs you need to be in like the top 2%. So do you think that I could get in.</p>

<p>I havent taken the SAT but i got a 197 PSAT.
Almost full load of APs avaible.
I've also done research on quantum mechanics, even though it doesn't relate to business. But can I get in or should I apply to more than just UT.</p>

<p>Yea you have a good shot at getting into mccombs, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't apply anywhere else.</p>

<p>Don't ever take anything for granted. It is very possible that you could get denied from either mccombs or UT all together. Your stats are pretty good so pick at second choice school and a safety.</p>

<p>It is automatic for top 10%, however this is for 75% of the slots. I hope you already turned in your application because this 75% of slots will be given out on a first come first serve basis. For the last 25% you will be competing against other applicants. You would be very competitive in this group. </p>

<p>My best advice is to make sure your application materials are submitted asap, and even though it its automatic admission apply to another school or too. Anything could happen, It's better to be safe than sorry.</p>
