Here are some of my credentials:
1.4.54 GPA (first in my class at the moment)
2. I've taken all available Honors and AP classes, at the moment I'm taking 4 (AP Lit., AP Bio., AP Gov., AP Calc.) but I want to add AP Spanish ( I'm in CP Spanish, my school doesn't offer Honors)
3. President of National Honors Society (well co-president )
4. Female Athlete of the Year every year since freshman year
5. Girl's track MVP
6. involved in Student Gov. every year, this year got elected treasurer
7. grade 10 service award
8. Spanish Honors Club
9. performed in every school play since freshman year (3)
10. SAT is 1690 (WR 580, MTH 520, CR 580) I know they suck, I'm going to bring them up with this next SAT
What do you guys think? If any alumni or current students from the aforementioned schools above could also give me some advice, that would be awesome! Thank you :)

BU is a match but your sat is really bringing you down for northeastern (sorry but harvard is only a dream at this point)

BU and Northeastern are low reaches. Harvard is a pipe dream that you have very little chances of making Chance back for Wharton/Stern?

A few questions here:
- Are you a junior, or a senior?
- Your readers have no idea what a 4.54 GPA means. At my daughter’s high school, with the classes she took, that would have meant 2 or 3 Bs every semester. What is your unweighted GPA?
- Have you taken any AP exams? If so, how did you do?

Regarding the SAT scores - it’s highly unlikely you could raise them to the point that you would be competitive for Harvard admissions, you need 2200+ (coupled with a near 4.0 unweighted GPA) to have a decent chance if you’re an unhooked candidate, 2000+ if you are a URM, recruited athlete, etc. I’m not going to comment on BU and Northeastern, obviously they are less selective than Harvard so your chances will be greater.

1) I’m a senior
2) my GPA is 97.4, unweighted
3) I’ve taken 2 AP Exams, 3 on AP Lit. (not so good), but a 4 on AP U.S. History
I’m studying very hard to raise my scores every day so that I can achieve a 2300+. I think it’s possible, but I have to study very hard, which is what I’m trying to do. Thanks for your comment @BldrDad

I agree with benvenuta, harvard is a very high reach. One admit I know won a national award for which there were only two recipients. He was a guy. They accepted one guy one girl. Soooo yeah. But I do think u have a pretty solid chance at NE and BU. People who I know got in have less credentials than u. Good luck!
