Hi,
I have a 4.9 weighted GPA and 3.9 unweighted
I have a 1930 on my first ever SAT (not planning on using it)
I have a composite 32.25 on my ACT and am planning on taking it again
The first time I took the ACT I got
English: 34
Math: 28
Reading: 30
Science: 30
But the second time I got
English: 35
Math: 30
Reading: 34
Science: 25
I recognize the drastic drop in my science score and I am working on remedying it.
I have, in my opinion, great extracurriculars. I am extremely involved in theater both inside and outside my school and have been in a professional conservatory twice. Next year I will be the first student to ever direct the mainstage show at my school. I also will be the president of two clubs and will be in my school's Jazz Band. I was also a nominee for NC Governor's School. I have a lot of other extracurriculars I am forgetting but, nevertheless, I am sufficiently strong in that area. What are my chances of getting accepted regular decision next year? What about ED?
Thanks so much!

I think Tufts would be a high match for you and you stand a decent chance of getting admitted ED. I would search up the ED and regular decision acceptance rates from this year and/or previous years. If it is your first-choice it would help to apply ED just b/c the admit rates are higher. I agree with you on not sending the SAT score, your ACT is much better, however if you could just work on it a bit more your chances might increase. Congrats on that GPA, maintaining a 3.9 uw gpa is not easy by any means esp. while taking all APs/honors. Good luck and perhaps chance me back?
