hate to do this but bumpity bump bump.
thank you. love you guys in advance :)

You definitely have a solid shot there, especially since you're applying EA.

You'd be better off with a 3.5+ GPA, but you're definitely not a bad candidate.

if i get all A's my first quarter of senior year will they show up on my transcript in time for the EA deadline of november 1st? also, should i retake the SAT in october? will i get the score back in time?

There are no clear-cut answers to those questions. Typically a school won't put quarter grades on a transcript, but will send a separate grade report. If your quarter grades are released before November 1, your school will more than likely send the grades to Tulane for you. If you feel that your score will improve enough for you, then retake the SAT. Your scores will be available approximately 3 weeks after you take the exam. Keep in mind that schools get late material all the time; the November 1 deadline isn't when the committee decides on your application, and you have about a 2 week window to add more to it with most colleges, so your scores should definitely be received before your application is considered.

Some schools request midyear grades for senior year, so I would check with Tulane. And yes, Oct. SAT scores will get back in time for Nov 1st.
