By end of senior year-7 ap classes mostly 4 or 5 on ap exams
School Award in physics
Real world experience in business (accounting intern [no correlation to anything in engineering but can't hurt])
In-state high school
I know getting into U of I's engineering school is very hard and my chances of getting in are slim.</p>

<p>Hey Blathezar what exactly is dgs? Because I visited Illinois last week and they said if you are rejected from engineering they still consider you for DGS, but would I still get to study engineering if I’m accepted through dgs?</p>

<p>Yes, you will still be able to take the same classes that you would had you been accepted to engineering.</p>
