Hello! I am a rising senior from south carolina.
University of Florida is my number one college choice, i was just wondering if there was a chance i could get in, that would be awesome!

I am a member of the national honors society and beta club, with so far 40 hours of community service, plus the other 40 of next years.
I am in the forensics club (drama and such) and have been for the past two years
I play varsity soccer, varsity basketball and run cross country.
I get A's and B's, and by the end of high school will have taken 3 AP classes and 8 Honors Classes.
I sing in a select singing group in my school (will be 2 years by end of HS)
I have a GPA of 3.8
The first round of SAT's i did not do so well, but i took them last saturday after having a tutor and having studied and hour a day a month before i took them, so i feel like i did a lot better, i'm hoping they will be in the sat range for UF.
I am taking the ACT's this saturday and have studying a lot aswell.

Thanks for reading!

I don’t think so, UF barely accepts any out of state applicants unless they are overly outstanding students & have the the best test scores and GPA’s.

Tough to give a decent answer without ACT/SAT scores.

you need to score very high on the SAT. OOS have a hard time without excellent scores.

good luck to you

If you get like 2000+ on the SAT I’d say you have a good chance.

Fellow out-of-stater here from Georgia
I got into UF with a
3.6 unweighted GPA
4.3 weighted GPA
1380 (out of 1600) SAT score
31 ACT (Top 97% in the country)
Few extracurriculars

Best advice is to dominate the standardized tests.
Also, if you get in as an out of state student, UF will reward you. I personally received a massive scholarship from UF, and everyone else I know going there from out of state received considerable financial aid

If you are 100% commited to getting accepted your best bet would be to get in on soccer. they have a varsity team so ask your coach how the recruitment process works. Most out-of-state students are either really smart (high SAT, high GPA, and tons of APs I myself have taken 12 APs which is towards the top end) or they are athletic recruits (just as bright but they know thier way around a field or et cetera). Best of luck! :)

SAT: math: 690 Reading: 650 writing: 630
GPA: 6.0725 or 3.9000

just for comparison… but I am probably about 75th percentile of UF admitants

we really need scores cause otherwise were just guessing off your extracurriculars
