I am coming from the top ranked private school in Mississippi. Taken 2 AP courses, got a 3 and a 5 on the exams. I am in senior year right now and I am taking 2 more APs this year. My cumulative GPA is about a 3.52 on a 4.3 scale. I played a couple sports last year and one this year. I have over 100 hours of community service and had 1 job during the summer. My ACT score was a 33, and my 1st SAT attempt was a 2200 flat. I might retake it once more. I took two SAT II's in math and physics, and I got over 700s in both of them.

So you think I could get admitted into USC? (University of Southern California)

You should definitely apply and depending on ECs, major, and other factors, it sounds like your scores and gpa are in the ballpark.
But you should also apply to a range of other schools, including ones which might offer you better financial aid. Are finances a factor?

match. USC is not a HYPM meaning that they look at more stuff than just grades. from what i heard from my school frds currently attending USC (and don't try and argue, this is just my opinion, so i'm not stating it as a fact), i've heard that USC even rejects people with 2300 or 2400 SAT scores, because those intellectuals can go to HYPM, USC is more on the party sports side, so applicants with a 1900 SAT score and 3.6 GPA with a lot of great ECs have a better chance of getting in than someone with a 4.0 2400 score cos they don't want USC to be an intellectual uni. It's a diverse uni. it's different.

Oh yes I took the PSAT and got a 206 in it, which is qualified for NMS. And my GPA isn't as mediocre as it looks, because like I said it is out of a maximum 4.3(that is when you have all A+'s).
