<p>I mean, it would increase your chances. But if you are OOS, it would still be a reach. If I’m not mistaken, UT- Austin accepts every Texas applicant that is in the top 10% of their class. Then they accept other Texas applicants, then they accept OOS students. So you really need to stand out. Also, your GPA is pretty low, so that will hurt you. It will show that you haven’t taken weighted classes as had a rigorous schedule. Increasing from 400-600 points is EXTREMELY unlikely, so maybe you should take the ACT. It might be a better fit.</p>
