Could I get into VCU?

<p>I really want to go to VCU. I live in-state, and I have a 3.3 gpa. My sat scores are extremely low though.. I have a 1150 out of 2400. I'm retaking the sat and taking the act for the first time in October. I have held a job for most of my high school career, and my first language is actually Spanish. I was born in Mexico, but I have been living here (Virginia) for the past 10 years. Do you think I realistically have a chance of getting into VCU?</p>
