Could I get my admission rescinded for this?

I just recently applied to UIUC for the Spring Semester as a transfer student and got accepted today. My concern is that when I applied I stated the application that I was taking two classes. One was a traditional class and the other was an online class. I could not handle the online class and have since dropped it, but I am getting an A in the other one. According to the website it says that "An admission decision is contingent on successful completion of any courses in progress or that were planned to be taken prior to entry to the University of Illinois". I am totally freaking out because I'm scared they will rescind my application because I dropped that class. I have yet to talk to my college advisor at my CC about the dropped grade appearing on my final transcript. As of Spring semester 2010 I have a 3.7 GPA in all college courses. If someone has been in a similar predicament, can you please responded to this question?

You should send letter informing them that you have dropped the course with an expanation for why…

Could it result in rescission: possibly but it depends. You face a real risk of rescission if: (a) the course is needed to meet the number of credit hours you need to transfer; for example, you are transfering into junior year status, meaning you will have completed 60 transferable credit hours at time you actually enroll and that course was needed to get you to 60 hours; (b) the course is one required for transfer – for each college and major, there are required courses you need to have to transfer and if you have dropped one of those courses, you have an issue. If it is not either of those issues, it likely will not mean much.
